Yes, there have been toxic people on the anonymous board for quite some time now.

I would like to implement better accountability in the form of features such as user list and banning, but that requires a lot of time, that I don't have at the moment.

There are many open boards on wbo apart from the anonymous one. Feel free to create new ones too. You can ask on reddit for instance of you are looking for like-minded people to draw with you on a public board other than the anonymous one.

Honestly just nuke the instance every day and be done with it 😅 There be assholes on the interwebs, nothing you can do about it. Great app btw, spun up my own instance, very simple to operate 👌
