Is a schematic available for the hardware? Your example source includes light sensor readings as well, is this accurate?

light sensor is rev2 not yet available on marketplaces. schematic is not much more than ordinary esp32 with battery charger, there is no voltage divider (available on rev2 as well). The soil moisture is coming from SEN0193 of DyRobot, Temp sensor is DHT11

Thank you for your response.

The market boards are all currently "Rev1" boards? Your code shows "Light" as as the reading for pin 33. What is pin 33 assigned to for Rev1 boards?

Looking forward to Rev2 as that voltage divider is key to battery life monitoring!

@lucafabbri
Hi Luca, I'm currently having a dispute with an Aliexpress dealer about your board. Is there anywhere an official link to the rev1 and rev2? They offer a Lilygo layout and say that this is THE HiGrow board.
I too have trouble because I thought your test code is for rev1.
The interesting question is what light sensor do you want to use for rev2. There are so many interesting (light amount integrating) devices around (TSL2561 (IR&Visible), (GY-)VEML6070 (UV&Visible), ...)
as @mercdev ment I would like to know too, what battery monitor you want to use. As a simple voltage divider without a mosfet switch would consume unneccessary power.
Also a mosfet switch to cut off all unused ic's of the 3.3v rail would be very helpful and would prolong the battery live enormous.

@lucafabbri you said "rev1...needs a fix on the soil moisture sensor" what fix is needed?
And, can you advice on adding battery voltage monitoring to a rev1 board? maybe solder a wire?

@lucafabbri I'd like to know this too. I purchased a number of rev1 boards a while back, also from AliExpress so if these older boards have faulty sensors I'd like to know what I need to do to fix them. Can you please elaborate?

Any new on the (hardware, I assume) fix for the Rev1 boards? They really consume too much power for being usable in practice.

Hello @lucafabbri , im sorry this project didn' succeed, this was excatly what I needed.
Can you please share the schematics??

Thanks

this project died 2 years ago. Look at MiFlora for an alternative. I have a few of the v1 higrown boards if you want them.
