The problem

It seems the repo-owner mak-gitdev is inactive since march 2024. Therefore i decided to create a fork including all the latest changes. feel free to use it as long as this repo does not get updated. Also feel free to open PR's to both repos for the time being.

forked repo: ghcr.io/aseracorp/ha_enoceanmqtt
automatically built docker image: ghcr.io/aseracorp/ha_enoceanmqtt

Changelog fork:

I already had my own fork but it's a great idea to centralize all improvements.

I will try to transfer my waiting PR on your repo!

Thank you very much !
Did you take the Eltako branch ? I found that a lot of interesting improvements are in this branch.
I'm also writing some new EEP mapping, I push them as soon as testing is finished.

Didn't knew that exists.
Is the Eltako branch working without breaking other things? I don't have any Eltako-Devices so I cannot test.

I think it contains some major changes such as the feature to define a model and not an EEP in your conf. But I switched to this branch since 1 month without noticing any issue (cf. https://github.com/mak-gitdev/hidden-addon).

OK, just to confirm, you use model + EEP based config? Or only model based config?

1 model + 11 EEP in the same config.

Ok, I merged it into the fork. Can you test it quickly? It builds and works on my setups so far.

I'm using addon installation and I can't find your add on repository. Can you share the link or create the repo ?
Once done, I will test it ASAP.

I'm sorry, I've no idea how to make the addon work. Never got into that as I don't like the restrictions HA OS imposes. Docker, Compose and Kubernetes work though.

Ok, I will try to do it on my side, I will keep you posted.

I created an Home Assistant Addon repository : https://github.com/ChristopheHD/HA_enoceanmqtt-addon.
This addon is using the head of your repository. It's currently working on my HA instance, I'm watching it during 24 hours and if I detect no bug I will release a stable version.

No bugs detected during the night. I released a stable version with version 0.1.30 to continue the versioning from mak-gitdev.

Thanks for the forked addon. I switched to it in my setup where I use enocean temperature sensor and a TRV. Everything looks fine so far!

@ChristopheHD Thank you so much.
Apparently this addon does not install on the latest version of openhab but your fork does....

@ChristopheHD Thank you! I almost lost my interest in getting my eltako devices work in homeassistant since I didn't have the motivation to try the eltako branch by myself. Now everything works like a charm!

@ChristopheHD: How to use this -> support TCP-linked transceivers (#130)
There is no option to choose a TCP connection or URL/enocean_port in the config gui.

That's a really good question ! I don't know.
I don't have time this weekend to look this point. On Monday, I will search if someone have made the dev for the addon configuration. Otherwise I will develop it. But I won't be able to test it, so I may need your help for testing.

@TTr0n I continue the discussion for TCP support here : ChristopheHD/HA_enoceanmqtt-addon#7
