Instead of depending on backend code to trigger slack API calls to send an invite, we can use invite links:

https://slack.com/intl/en-pt/help/articles/201330256-invite-new-members-to-your-workspace#share-an-invite-link

These are valid for 2000 invitations. I think we should be fine for a couple of years.
