Windows Version: 11 24H2 (build 26100.2448)
Driver Version: 2024.04.05 V2
Issue: When I set the option to "Do nothing" under the "When I close the lid" in the System settings and use the magnetic cover of my tablet, the touchscreen becomes unresponsive when the cover is closed and then reopened. Additionally, if the cover remains closed for an extended period and then reopened, the display shows partial distortions. All these errors disappear after rebooting tablet but appear again when I close and reopen the cover.
(Actually it destroys drivers when I close the lid instead of doing nothing haha)

"Do nothing when I close the lid" makes Touchscreen and Display drivers wrong
Touchscreen and Display Issues When Magnetic Cover is Closed and Reopened
Dec 7, 2024
I guess it is because the display is disconnected when the cover is closed and reconnected as the cover reopens. Obviously the display isn't hot-swappable, so it goes wrong. This also explains why "Monitor Timeout" works good - the display is just turned off instead of being disconnected.
