As of now, I'm getting an error message when rebooting Homebridge.

Error message:
"Device not implemented: HmIP-BS2 - Name BRAND_SWITCH_2"

I'm assuming is this device is not supported yet I'm receiving this error message can you confirm?

Would U please implement the HMIP-BS2. My entire house is running on it and I love what you did with the other homematic IP implementations.

Hi, I've implemented all multi channel switch devices including HmIP-BS2, and @marcsowen accepted the pull request. Since he didn't release a new version, you currently need to use the git repository to use the HmIP-BS2. If you do, and encounter a problem with the BS2, please let me know. At least at my home it works flawlessly.

@Marc9608 it is the space where this project's development files are shared/ saved.

You may want to check out this to help you understand it and use the current repository as the plugin:

Hello,

I’m using the Homebridge-HomematicIP plugin to integrate my Homematic IP devices into HomeKit. One of my devices, the ELV-SH-BS2 (device type: BRAND_SWITCH_2), is not currently supported by the plugin.

Here is the log output:
[29/11/2024, 14:54:10] [HomematicIP] Device not implemented: ELV-SH-BS2 - Küche via type BRAND_SWITCH_2

Device details:

  • Device type: BRAND_SWITCH_2
  • Homematic IP app: Device is configured and works correctly.
  • Serial number: 3014F711A000316080002XXX
  • Channels: 2 (channel 1: switch 1, channel 2: switch 2)

My setup:

  • Homebridge version: [v1.8.5]
  • Plugin version: [v1.3.1]
  • Node.js version: [v20.11.0]
  • Operating System: [Raspbian GNU/Linux Bullseye (11)]

Would it be possible to add support for this device type? Let me know if I can provide further details or logs.

Best regards,
Jan
