In Mastodon, it is possible to compute feature on spot level and on branch spot level. Features computed on spot level can be visualized using File > Preferences > Feature Color Modes. These color modes can be used to visualize spot features in the Bdv view.
With File > Preferences > Feature Color Modes also Color Modes that refer to branches can be defined. However, these cannot be continuously visualized at the moment, since the BDV Branch view only shows the branch spots at there end timepoints.
Cf.:
Top left: TrackScheme
Top right: TrackScheme Branch
Lower left: Bdv
Lower right: Bdv Branch
It would be nice, if the branch color modes could also be selected in the trackscheme and bdv view so that the branch features can be continuously visualized in the big data viewer.
