OBS loses XCompsite window view when minimised

Expected behaviour

On other DE/WMs minimising windows still keeps focus of window display in XCompisite however in macro (I suspect at least) this isn't the case. A short video will be provided to show this more clearly.

Loses focus as shown:

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Gentoo steps included:

1. Install MATE 1.27 as detailed in https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/MATE#Development_Release_Cycle
2. emerge -va media-video/obs
3. In OBS setup a XCompsite for a terminal
4. minimise terminal and watch the output disappear

MATE general version

MATE-1.27 (This is a test machine to look for early issues before 1.28 release.)
