Details of the feature

Without the option to install matlab toolboxes this MATLAB is not of much use. You can't run mpm, so how to get the Mathworks toolboxes installed?

Hi @GrimRobot ,

Thank you for using matlab-proxy. I understand you're looking to install and use toolboxes within matlab-proxy. Here's the workflow we typically follow:

  1. Download and Set Up mpm: You can find the instructions here.
  2. Select and Install Products/Toolboxes: During installation, choose the products/toolboxes you wish to install. For example, to install the Robotics System Toolbox on Linux, you would use:
    ./mpm install --release=R2024b --destination=/home/<USER>/matlab --products=MATLAB Robotics_System_Toolbox
More details can be found here.
  3. Access MATLAB via matlab-proxy: Use the installed MATLAB and toolboxes through the browser with matlab-proxy. You can find the instructions here.

To assist you better, could you provide more details about how you are integrating mpm and matlab-proxy into your workflow?

Additionally, kindly provide information about your operating system and whether you are using Docker containers or any other details regarding environment setup. This information will help me better understand your setup.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Shushant
