Ingest working with small Notion export, but not large (embedded pages)

I've been experimenting with using Notion exports this with various levels of success. I can upsert, query etc and have found it really quite interesting.

I'm now looking at building a complex Notion export, with many pages. Some pages have long titles. There are multiple layers of embedding (page within page within page).

I currently trying to mimic a complex arrangement of School documents. The idea being that the database as a whole contains every document that a school might have, from policy docs, to attendance registers, gradebooks, teaching documents, worksheets etc. I'm keeping images to a minimum (but there are some in there).

I currently can't upsert the Notion export (either because filenames too long, or images are embedded).

I'm going to go through and remove all images to see if that fixes the problem (i think it did the first time i did this).

But my question is, how well does the chat model handle all the complex embedding of various Notion pages? For instance, would it recognise that a science worksheet, linked by a teacher guide document for lesson planning, is part of the plan for a particular lesson?

I know the questions is a little vague but i want to experiment with various arrangements of doc embedding and see if the outputs are affected (a tiresome process).

Does anyone have any experience or guidance on document linking and how the chat model handles that?
