I can code a PHP REST API (i'm sure that's what rest apis are)
as long as i can connect to a db or i figure out how websockets work.
I've done it before, so it won't be hard.

I would wait. @wgyt, @tnix100, and I have been working on Meower's API for stuff, and things are going to get some major changes. Server will be transitioned eventually to MongoDB, and Rest API will be based upon Flask. WIP. Help wanted, but full spec and plan TBD.

Meower is transitioned to MongoDB now, not sure how we will implement push notifs yet though.

Relabeling issue. Lots of these have been taking care of (REST API), however we have yet to determine how to manage push notifications (if ever).
