Description of the new feature / enhancement

Has your laptop ever died while you were remotely logged into a server? I've searched everywhere but can't find an existing application (that works) to display show the battery status of the RDP client inside the RDP session. I think that PowerToys would be a great place to create a System Tray icon that shows the battery level of the laptop being used to remotely log into another computer.

Scenario when this would be used?

This would be helpful when using a battery-powered computer to log into another via RDP.

Supporting information

I found one attempt by someone else at creating an application that fulfills this need: RDP-BattMon. However, this repo is apparently abandoned and the app does not appear to be working on my attempts with Windows 10/11 and my limited testing hardware pool.
