Debug console not updating

Type: Bug

Debug console window not updating after debugger is restarted. Seems to have just started after my VScode udpated.

1. Run python debugger
2. Type something in debug console test = 1
3. Restart debugger via the green circle restart arrow
4. Type something else in the debug console test = 2
5. Nothing appears.
6. Switch to different tab (terminal tab) and then go back. Now the debug console has updated.

Edit: Confirmed this does not happen on previous version.
