I want to create a tunnel from a compute node of a cluster. I need certain environment variables, such as CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES to be passed from the compute node into the session that connects via the tunnel. Is this possible?

This seems like a remote extension question not specifically python extension related. Can you elaborate on your scenario?

Closing this as it turns out environment variables are available via the tunnel, sorry for the confusion!
