I have very little experience with IDEs. I don't know how I came across the smart send feature, where one uses shift+enter to send code to the interpreter in an interactive session. I didn't even know the name of the feature. But I like the feature. However, I have on occasion, accidentally turned it off. Not knowing what it was called, I searched on multiple occasions to discover how to turn it back on, but never found an answer. This usually meant uninstalling and reinstalling VS Code to get the feature back. The last time I turned it off, I saw a message saying that I had turned it off and with the name in the message found an issue that mentioned there were problems. In that issue's discussion, I found the steps I need to turn the feature back on. That's the closest thing to documentation I could find. Having just looked, there is no documentation for smart send on the VS Code documentation page. Please add something for beginners like me.

Hello @John-Polo Thanks for bringing this up.
I understand what you are saying, and super glad you like the feature!
These are valid points - let me bring this up to the team.
