After the latest vs code update (Version: 1.94.1) I noticed that when I run any python code, there is a noticeable pause (2 to 4 seconds) before it launches. I have tested multiple .py files and it happens with all of them. Once the code is running there are no other notable issues.
Steps to reproduce:
run any .py file on vs code version 1.94.1.
