VS Code insider 1.71 doesn't seem to run at all on Win7. Likely due to newer version of Electron.

Maybe it's just a build thing (like the stable version will be built with lower version of Electron), otherwise I think it's worth a mention. I didn't find anything about retiring Win 7 entirely (I know it's already not officially supported, but it still runs fine up to 1.70) in related article or changelogs so far.

"Explore showing search results as a tree view" this is one of the features you lost 90% of our developers to jetbrains products in the past 5 years, while the rest still struggles with previously used ones like eclipse, netbeans, etc. occasionally using vscode and switching back because stuff like nested git repositories and tree view search not working is just annoying when it worked 20 years ago in other products
