api endpoint and demo links

Hi, I wanted to check out the demo listed in the docs, but the following two links appear to be dead.

Unfortunately I need to find some time to write up a proper documentation.. but you can view a demo of whats possible here: http://nasa.apphb.com (although it is also pretty dated)

I'm not seeing anything interesting at the nasa.apphb.com demo - just a blank screen that it is refreshing very quickly, and an odd little map with some triangles in it.

Please describe in durable, reproducable prose what the code is supposed to be able to do.
