Feature request: Minimize to system tray #13
Comments
An interesting idea. I'm not keen on it. I'll have to think on it for a while. |
Thank you. I'll try to explain it a bit: Tweetz Desktop is an app I would like to have constantly running, so I don't want it to take a room on my taskbar. It's quite standard that such constantly running applications have an icon in system tray. Also, when I have it hidden from taskbar, there's no quick way to reach the app (thus a system tray icon and possibly a configurable keyboard shortcut would help a lot). |
@ferenczy The idea is wonderfull, I also hope there is available hostkeys to show/hide tweetz. |
So it has been about a year since we discussed this feature. Can we move it forward or close it, please? Or, are you open to contributions, for example? Maybe you just don't have enough time but you would accept such feature. I'm just guessing. |
I have a feature request: it would be nice to have a possibility to minimize the application into the system tray, plus to have some keyboard shortcut (ideally configurable) to show/hide the window.
