Importing MODX users from CSV (like now), and with Users Groups, rôles and rank would be HUGE!

It definitely would :-)

Dont want to get your hopes up too much, but it has crossed my mind before
and it would be a great way to kick off v2. Along with wizard-like
interface allowing you to have more control over what is imported to where,
without having to carefully prepare the source file (csv/xml).

Man, if only I could magically find time to build this next-gen import
utility! :-P

It would be great if you can select the resource groups when importing.
