Nag people about requesting a release note #2441

When bugs about user-facing Firefox changes are created, the reporters often forget to request a release note.

It would help the release teams and let users know about new features and changes if the assignees were automatically asked to request a release note.

Criteria for this might be:

  • Products: "Core", "Firefox", "Fenix", "Firefox for iOS", "Focus", "DevTools", and "WebExtensions"
  • Components: all from Automatically add dev-doc-needed flag #2440 for "Core", not sure for other products
  • Type: enhancement and task (Though "defect" may also be considered for important bugfixes. In that case, it needs to be discussed what classifies them as important.)

Possible other indicators are the ones outlined in #2440.

When those conditions are met, a need-info should be requested from the bug assignee asking to create a release note request.

This possibly creates a lot of false positives. So the exact criteria needs to be discussed. Maybe someone from the release teams may provide more feedback on this.

Sebastian
