I've faced the same issue on a Fedora 32.
I create #135

I didn't try on kodi 19, but on Kodi 18.6 on Fedora 32, which seems to remove python2

Merged, if you get your hands on Kodi 19 can you verify that it works please?

I tested and could not make it work. Afaik the python version must be 3.0.0 instead of 2.x

When I just set the python version to 3.0.0 (it was a wild guess) it said it has invalid structure.

Hello, I forked the project and create a v19 branch.
You can try it here V19
There were some modifications to make it compatible.
Tell me if it works or if you encounter some issues.

@fefux just tried it out and it worked perfectly (using the theatre lights settings) - Nice work
