On occassion I vaguely remember hearing that there are things like "
keysort
" and "sort
" and "functor
" in Prolog, but none of these show up in thescryer.pl
search.I found some of them here.
I would have imagined these should be in the
builtins
module, otherwise I'm not sure how we're ever supposed to find them!I'm not sure if that's how it's "supposed to be", which is why I didn't raise an issue, but it's certainly a bit of a speed bump while self-teaching Scryer. You end up on the SWI-Prolog documentation a lot, which is probably not the goal! Is there a correct way to learn about these or should we work towards enhancing discoverability?
