I've noticed that there are some distinct camps within the Prolog community. One thing I like about Scryer is the discipline in staying true to the core principles of Prolog, such as monotonicity and lots of other good words that I'm still learning. This means things like, never use Vegan Prolog, maybe? :D And God help you when you slip up: In all seriousness though, if it does have a name it would be helpful in learning more about it proactively! |

I don't think that non-monotonicity is necessarily a bad thing is has it's own merits: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-monotonic_logic. |
