A lot of channels in the mumble server I use don't let you in if you're not registered. Is there a way to make it so we can register on the iPhone?

03:33 < soitj> This relates more to the iphone app, but is there any way to
register iphone mumble users? I found that even admins can't
register them nor can users register themselves to a server
within the application.

03:48 @mkrautz soitj: the iOS app doesn't auto-generate a certificate, which
is why they can't be registered by default. you can create on
in Preferences -> Certificates

The iPhone auto generates a certificate which can be seen if I click on "Certificates", but the user still can't self register or be registered by admins. Am I doing something wrong.

I just think you should try to create another one in Preferences-> Certificate AFAIK the app doesn't autogenerate a certificate. But you accept the Servers certificate when connecting.

@olzzon When I go to Preferences-> Certificate it shows this

There is no option to create one.

Instead of pressing on the certificate, you should press the + button in the upper right corner at press create new certificate.

Great.
Could you specify what you did, so others can learn from it, if they have the same problem.

Yea. I followed your instructions: Preferences > Certificate > Generate New Certificate.
