We should look at the figures output by each notebook in this color blindness simulator and adjust the formats to improve visibility. I looked at the spectroscopy_generator output and the different lines/colors are fairly distinguishable in many of the views but not all. It's especially bad with Monochromacy/Achromatopsia which is basically grey-scale. The best solution might be to assign different line styles so they can be distinguished by something other than color.
