Edits disappearing after save

I know this has been a problem for quite some time, but it seems to have gotten worse over the last few weeks. I was editing today in Golden Gate, and after digitizing ~20 building footprints in I saved them. They saved successfully, but when the map refreshed, the edits disappeared altogether. I had to manually refresh the browser three times before the edits showed back up in the map.

This is a major issue, as users are going to get really frustrated if their edits disappear. I know about the problem, but we can't expect others to.
