Can you include a few screenshots or even a few of the meshes from your sequence? I don't know what you mean when you say "UVs are totally broken."

Could you also list the steps you took before you saw the "broken UVs"? Specifically, all of the import settings.

Also, what version of Stop Motion OBJ are you using? What version of Blender are you using?

In the future, please fill out a bug report using the Issues > New Issue > Bug Report. It looks like you've filled out a Feature Request form, which is not helpful to me.

Oh yes, you're totally right, sorry for the mistake, want me to create a new one in Issues > New Issue > Bug Report or should i continue here?... Let me know and i'll try to add all the steps you told me. Also i'm using the last version of the addon, downloaded from here and Blender 3.2.

Thanks for the answer. Greetings.

Maybe just copy the prompt from the Bug Report template and paste that into a new comment here. No need to create a separate issue. And be sure to include the version number for the version of Stop Motion OBJ you're using. There have been lots of changes in the upcoming alpha version (2.2.0-alpha.23) and it will make a huge difference whether you're using that one or the released one (2.1.1)

System Information
Operating system:

Addon version
Broken: 2.1.1.
Worked: First time i use this and is 2.1.1.

Describe the bug
After loading the sequence of .obj i simply apply a material with textures, then if i try to see the next frame of the animation that means that is the next obj the texture that looks correct in the first frame brakes and looks totally wrong.

Steps To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

(This is in Blender 3.2) File>import>mesh sequence>highlight the first obj in the series>then in sequence settings i add a word that matches with the series of obj name files and then i click on select folder (Image 1). Take i while to load, the animation loads correctly and then i apply a texture, that looks like in the (screenshot 2). Then when i play the animation the texture with that UV brakes and is like it loose the UV data or information (screenshot 3). Then keeps broken until the last frame of the animation or last obj (screenshot 4).

Expected behavior
To keep the UV mapping and texture correctly.

Screenshots
Screenshot 1
Loading the obj sequence

Screenshot 2

TExture applyed at frame 0 (zero)

Screenshot 3

2 frames after

Screenshot 4

Broken untiol the last frame or obj

This was created in Cinema 4DR26 and it looks like this.

And then in Blender 3.2 with the addon it looks like this.

I just did also a quick test, and loaded only one obj from de sequence, frame 12 and it looks correct. (Blender 3.2)

frame 12

Greetings.

Thank you for the explanation, the screenshots, and the screen captures.

I noticed that in your first screenshot, the Material per Frame box was un-checked. Have you tried enabling this feature before importing the sequence. That feature was created for this exact scenario.

Sorry that it passed so much time but i'm trying again right now, this is the case scenario, i imported of the object and it works well for the material that has in C4D, but if i want to change the material for another one it only applies to one frame, so i have to apply the material, in this case 60 frames of animation, so i have to do it 60 times, same happens when i use material per frames, only difference is that without material per frame the first load with one material it goes well but if you try to apply another material, you have to do it for every frame again, 60 times in my case. Is suppose to work like that?... Or there is a way to apply the material to all the material for the 60 objects?... I'll test one more thing, maybe exporting different from C4D. Oh, and the material is applied to all when i don't use the material per frames, but as before the UV seems to be broken.

Thanks in advance. Greetings.
