Not sure if this tool itself provides that possibility already, but we would need something akin to the solution suggested in nfdi4plants/ARCitect#264 where users can select folders or files to be tracked (or untracked) with lfs. A file-size-only filter turned out to be too simple.

It's basically git lfs track <foldername>. Not sure if it makes sense to add an ARC CLI alias with reduced funcitonality.

i think there is value as you stay in the framework for a specific task. No need to even know what git lfs is. reduced funcitonality is exactly what you want in such a case.
