UPDATE#1!!!: ClaymoreZcash v12.1 miner is updated in the bin_3rdparty.zip download package.
Notes on CPU mining:
- Please note that CPUs without AES-NI extension are no longer supported.
- xmr-stak-cpu CryptoNight miner has support for LOCKED PAGES; it will give more performance when enabled. How to enable: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/ms190730.aspx (you may have to restart OS after changing). You have to be logged into Windows as Administrator in order for this feature to work. To properly benchmark CPU mining it is best to reboot the system with as little auto-start applications as possible before benchmarking.
- If you have a recent Intel CPU and you are used to overclock CPU, you can tune some CPU cache settings in order to achieve best performance. You can try to set BIOS setting CPU Cache Ratio to the same value as your max CPU Ratio. For example if a CPU Ratio for a 4.5 GHz Intel CPU with 100 MHz BLCK is 45, then the Min and Default CPU Cache Ratio has also to be set to 45. As always, be careful with overclocking and keep in mind that overclocking or forcing manual settings might void your hardware warranty or damage your hardware.
AMD DRIVERS VERSION INFORMATION: If you're having issues with mining on AMD GPUs you should try latest NON-ReLive version of AMD drivers, that would be version 16.11.5
NiceHash Miner v1.7.5.1
This is a minor bug-fix release and minor feature updates.
To update from previous versions just copy the configs directory to NiceHashMiner_v1.7.5.1 folder.
Updates:
- new NVIDIA X11Gost miner (sibcoin info) forked from Provos Alexis. This miner can be up to 50% faster but is disabled by default as may be unstable on some systems.
Fixes:
- new CPU CryptoNight miner fixed default optimizations
- After initial install will prompt Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 needed for xmr-stak-cpu
If the automatic initialization fails on your machine you can download bin.zip and extract to NiceHashMiner_v1.7.5.1 folder manually. If you are using 3rd party miners you can download bin_3rdparty.zip and extract to NiceHashMiner_v1.7.5.1 folder manually.

NiceHash Miner v1.7.4.2
UPDATE!!!: For more accurate DaggerHashimoto sgminer-gm benchmarks download patch_v1
AMD DRIVERS VERSION INFORMATION: If you're having issues with mining on AMD GPUs you should try latest NON-ReLive version of AMD drivers, that would be version 16.11.5
NiceHash Miner v1.7.4.2
This is a minor bug-fix release and minor feature updates.
Updates:
- sgminer-gm-5.5.5-4 link. Supports CryptoNight and DaggerHashimoto.
- Fast open source CryptoNight mining, to enable this miner set "AMD_CryptoNight_ForceSgminer": true in configs\General.json file (this will force to use sgminer-gm over Claymore's CryptoNight miner when 3rd Party Miners are enabled, if 3rd Party Miners are disabled sgminer-gm will be used by DEFAULT).
- sgminer-gm is now DEFAULT for DaggerHashimoto. To revert back to ethminer set "AMD_DaggerHashimoto_UseSgminer": false in configs\General.json file.
- AMD OptiminerZ/Zcash v1.5.0 - to enable this miner set "AMD_Equihash_3rdParty": 1 in configs\General.json file
To update from previous versions just copy the configs directory to NiceHashMiner_v1.7.4.2 folder.
IMPORTANT UPDATE!: It is best to do a clean install (not copying the old device benchmark configs) as there are changes in miner files and changes for Optimized defaults. If you do copy over the old benchmark configs, you should go to settings, check and uncheck Disable Default Optimizations. Doing so will set the appropriate default optimizations that will give significant increase in hash-rate. After this a re-benchmark is required.
If the automatic initialization fails on your machine you can download bin.zip and extract to NiceHashMiner_v1.7.4.2 folder manually. If you are using 3rd party miners you can download bin_3rdparty.zip and extract to NiceHashMiner_v1.7.4.2 folder manually.
