NIP-2: Build Nimble AI Chain

TL;DR

Nimble AI chain is the consensus layer for Nimble composable AI protocol.

The Design

The first version of the Nimble AI chain to manage evaluators and miners.

Nimble AI Chain

The Nimble AI chain is built on top of Comos SDK by adding customized logic as discussed below.

Evaluator Management

Evaluators stake tokens for each AI task with stakes as network reputations. They assign tasks to miners and send evaluations back to the network layer. Miner rewards are calculated and distributed at the chain layer for full decentralization.

Miner Rewards

Each miner registers themselves in the evaluator network and creates wallets on the Nimble AI chain layer. The miner metadata like wallet address etc. is managed by the Nimble AI chain.

Timeline

It is planned to be launched by end of 02/23/2024.

Future Work

In this NIP, the consensus layer is built on top of the existing Cosmos SDK. In the future, Cosmos improvements from blockchains like Sei Network will be included in the AI chain layer for better scalability.
