Miner as a service is a solution to deploy mining software on users' behalf. Nimble provides an interface and works with 3rd party GPU clouds for the following benefits:
one button click mining experience,
security from verified 3rd party GPU clouds, and
stable network, stable GPU, no cheating, high reputation and thus stable income.
Nimble only provides a decentralized interface to onboard users. The mining service can be provided by any 3rd party. The miner as a service interface connects users with trustworthy GPU clouds. Users also have the option to own high end GPUs in colocated data centers with enterprise level network configurations.
Problems to Solve
Nimble miners are facing the following major challenges today:
Miner is cheated by unverified agents, thus losing real money.
Operation overhead is pretty high for managing GPUs by themselves, including setting up environments, debugging errors, updating software, etc.
Rental is expensive but contributes mainly low end GPUs like 3090 and 4090 to the network.
Targeted Users
The targeted users of the proposed solution are miners who:
rent GPUs from 3rd party GPU clouds,
use agents for Nimble network mining, and
own a small number of GPUs by themselves.
The Design
Button Click Onboarding Experience
Miner Interface provides a button click onboarding experience for miner setups and GPU payments. It interacts with AI Orderbook for GPU matching.
Fast Feedback Loop
Unified interface for miners to check GPU downtime, incorrect mining rewards and so on.
Mining Service Rating System
Miners can provide feedbacks for GPU clouds with unreliable services.
Milestones
M1 - Simple Miner Onboarding Interface for Different GPU Tiers (by 05/24/2024)
Deliverables:
Pricing documentation for different GPU tiers
Targeted mining reward rate for each tier
Wallet payment for GPU mining cycle purchases
Easy onboarding flow
Channels for user feedbacks and mining subscriptions
