I want to buy an ebook from Kindle and as a test of the decryption process I'm trying to decypt the free ebook Tale Of Cities by Charles Dickens: https://www.amazon.com/Tale-Two-Cities-Charles-Dickens-ebook/dp/B004EHZXVQ I don't own a Kindle, I'm using the Windows version of the Kindle app. I've installed the latest version of Calibre, 7.9.0 and used the DeDRM tools 10.0.3. The decryption fails. This is the log:

Thank you for the response. I removed 10.0.3 of DeDRM and installed 10.0.9. I then found the KFX Input plugin here: https://plugins.calibre-ebook.com/ It's this file: https://plugins.calibre-ebook.com/291290.zip Calibre still can't do the decryption. This is what I got:

Calibre never managed to import the book so there is nothing to delete. Here's what I see when I start it: Also, to decrypt the book I just double click on the file I'm running this in a VM with Win10 Pro 22H2 19045.2965. I assume that doesn't change anything, right? |
