Mod worked just fine, but now it doesn't

As the title says.
I had the vanilla game, no mods, no fixes, and worked just fine. A couple days ago I installed the mod and worked perfectly too. Today out of nowhere the mod stopped working. I thought maybe I made a mistake as I was cleaning the files and garbage on my disk. I decided to reinstall the game and the mod. Not only the mod still doesn't work, but also I have this weird textures bug (here an example uploaded by another user).
Not gonna lie, it's not an original copy of the game. But the weird thing is that the game and mod worked just fine.
Did something like this happen to anyone else?
