We discussed today the fact that there can be multiple hearings and well and multiple defendants, so there can be a different answer as to whether each defendant appeared at each hearing. Does that require a "defendant" model within the "hearing" model? If so, the multiple layers of nesting would mean there's not necessarily a way to flatten the data even to just 2 tables.
