please remove the rust checks like for cargo audit

Please remove all the rust checks, they are broken.
Especially the one for cargo audit. It prevents fixing security issues.

I would make a pull request if that is acceptable. Please advise.

Sadly the author decided that they will not afford me scientific arguments, so I see no way to discuss it usefully with them. I would welcome someone to mediate, if there is someone who thinks they can usefully talk to them.
