Google visualization API wrapper helper for CakePHP

Purpose

To add a simple API within CakePHP to create line, bar, area, and pie charts.

Requirements

• CakePHP 2.* (1.3 is no longer supported, but available in the 1.3 branch)

Installation

The structure has been updated to be loaded as a plugin for CakePHP 2.*.

• Add the submodule as a plugin. (or simply copy the contents if you don't wish to manage a submodule)

git clone git://github.com/cjsaylor/Google-visualization-api-cakephp.git app/Plugin/GChart

• Load the plugin in your bootstrap.

CakePlugin::load('GChart');

• Make available as a helper if you app.

$this->helpers[] = 'GChart.GChart';

• Include Google's jsapi script in your layout/view.

Currently Supports the following visualizations:

• Area Chart
• Bar Chart
• Pie Chart
• Line Chart

I have plans to add support with additional visualization (namely, Gauge is next on the list).
