Description of the Issue

Every time it starts on Mac OS, OpenConnect GUI requests for an admin password.

It should do it one time, and keep authorisation after it.

  • Platform: Mac OS X

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. Open OpenConnect GUI
  2. Enter admin password
  3. Close OpenConnect GUI
  4. Open OpenConnect GUI again

Expected Behavior

No second admin password request

Actual Behavior

Admin password requested for a second time

This is ok. App requires admin rights to be able trigger network setup update when connecting/disconnecting to VPN. It isn't one-time change.

Well. Lots of Mac apps does some sort of system changes. ANd they generally ask for a password one time and remembers permissions.

Not sure how it's technically done, still done somehow.

Hi, yes. I'm not sure how it is done on macOS. Anyway, there is a request/plan to solve similar admin-rights request on windows platform as well. I have an idea, may be it will work on all platforms.
