Unsupported content types cannot be added to libraries #1311
Comments
Noting that this is the opposite of #1093 and assumes we're not able to get that one done for MVP. |
@jmakowski1123 @bradenmacdonald Do we have a list of block types that are not supported? For now I have included |
You could use this list (https://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/edx-partner-course-staff/en/latest/exercises_tools/index.html) - EXCEPT we DO support all the CAPA problem types and Drag and Drop. |
@navinkarkera @jmakowski1123 I thought the answer was "Anything EXCEPT Video, Text, or Problem" is not supported in the libraries MVP. @jmakowski1123 For the record, the drag and drop editor is not working yet so we can't support that block for MVP. |
@jmakowski1123 @lizc577 @sdaitzman @marcotuts This is ready for AC testing on the sandbox |
I tested this with the ORA block, drag and drop, discussion block, polls, surveys, LTI, content experiment - seems to be working as expected! |
When a user tries to paste an unsupported content type into a Library, the content will not be added to the Library and the user will encounter a message.
Which content will not be supported?
Message: Libraries do not support this type of content yet.
