Hi,
after verifying a document with an existing .ots file in my browser on opentimestamps.org it says "Success, Bitcoin block 566808 attests existence as of 2019-03-13 CET". But when I click on the "i" info button, I get the following error on two different Windows 10 computers in different networks with Firefox and Chrome:

"Network Protocol Error
An error occurred during a connection to opentimestamps.org.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the network protocol was detected. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

Hmm, can't seem to replicate the problem here.

Maybe it's something wrong with your internet connection? Or just a transient problem?

As long as the proof status is "Pending attestation" I can click the "i" info link to view the timestamp website. As soon as the hash is committed to the blockchain I get the network error..hmm. Tried on Win10 with and without VPN. On Ubuntu 14.04 nothing happens when I click on the "i" after the hash is in a block.

Huh, Firefox on my machine I'm not getting any network errors when I try to verify. OTOH it is prompting me to download a OTS proof, which it shouldn't, so there's definitely a bug of some kind there.

Weird, I tried everything from deleting browser caches, resetting TCP/IP, flushing DNS, turning off the firewall and anti virus software and I still get the network error on all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Brave, except Microsoft Edge, it shows an empty timestamps page) on two different Windows 10 machines in two different networks.

I also tried it with Firefox on two different computers running Ubuntu (14.04 and 18.04). On both computers, which are running in different networks, nothing happens when I click on the info button after the website says "Success, ...Bitcoin Block ....".

Last thing I can try is to reset my router settings.

It also prompts me to download a OTS proof when I verify a file for the first time after the proof is committed to a block. When I download this proof and verify a file against it, no prompt appears. Does it prompt you every time you verify a file?

Sorry, I really don't have any idea. :( I'm not a web-dev expert; if I were in your position I'd open up yoru browsers network debugging console and start trying to figure out what's failing.

Yeah, on my browser I get a download window every time, which is definitely a bug; if I understand what you're saying correctly you're not seeing that bug.
