The difference between CIS-compliant modules, and the modules from the "regular" service catalog, is that the CIS ones are specifically configured (usually via hard coded parameter values) to be in compliance with the CIS Benchmark. There isn't any difference in accessing the AWS environment, depending on whether the modules are the CIS-compliant ones or not. |
