Current State

• LSX Design has block patterns, but they are not well-defined or categorised.
• Block patterns in LSX Design are not well-categorized, making it difficult for users to navigate through available patterns. WordPress 6.7 and previous versions provide enhanced support for organizing block patterns via theme.json categories.

Issues

• Outdated Block Patterns: Block patterns need to be updated to support the new block editor features.
• Uncategorized Patterns: Lack of structure in the block pattern organization reduces usability.

Recommendations

• Register Block Pattern Categories: Organize patterns into categories such as “Featured Content,” “E-commerce,” and “Layouts,” similar to how WordPress handles sections.
• Pattern Class Files: Use a dedicated class file for registering patterns under /includes/classes/ to maintain a clean code structure.
• Define Block Pattern Categories: Create categories for block patterns (e.g., “WooCommerce,” “Layouts”) and register them in theme.json.
