[Portal engine bundle] Implementing Aggregation Filters

Hello everyone,

I'm currently exploring ways to implement aggregation filters (facets) in the Pimcore Portal Engine, specifically for displaying product counts for each filter option (maybe hiding filter options without products). I have searched the documentation but couldn't find specific solutions or examples related to this functionality.

I have a few points in mind that I believe could be potential solutions, and I would like to get your thoughts on them:

• Using Pre-Condition Services: Could creating a custom pre-condition service to add aggregations to the search query be an effective way to achieve this?
• Utilizing FilterableFieldsEvent: Would it be feasible to leverage the FilterableFieldsEvent to modify filterable fields dynamically and include aggregation counts?
• Accessing Aggregation Results: Is there a standard approach to accessing and displaying aggregation results after executing the search query?

I would appreciate any insights, experiences, or examples related to these points.
