Complexity limit for queries?

Using the default dataset from Surrealist, I was able to generate a request that used almost 2G for the query:

SELECT ->product_sku->product.*->product_sku->product.*->product_sku->product.* FROM product;

And the query also took 30 seconds to execute, but Surrealist take 5 minutes to fully render for some reason. Meanwhile I don't think SurrealDB is still able to expose to the public internet due to potential DoS attack using graph queries, unless it starts implementing something like query complexity limit like GraphQL...
