Currently when configuring a windows puppet agent - we need to manually modify the %WINDIR%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file and add an entry for the master. This allows it to work and receive manifests etc...
Another way would be to configure the generated roles.yaml or vms.yaml file to use vagrant-hostmanager for windows boxes. Unsure of the syntax to apply to get it to work though.

This manual step shouldn't exist.
Ideally vagrant-hosts should support windows and copy the functionality of https://github.com/smdahlen/vagrant-hostmanager
