Adding a new type of display [question]

Hello,

I would like to add other type of display when clicking the add Display button on a web page, for example Path. But I could also need some more defined here http://wiki.ros.org/rviz/DisplayTypes .

How can I proceed to do that?

I think there isn't an easy way to extend RVizWeb right now. You could fork it and make PRs upstream to contribute new displays. I recommend you take a look at past pull requests adding displays, like osrf/polymer-ros-rviz#7
