Hi @camechis,

thanks for the input.

We should wait until version 0.2.x as there is a refactoring of the existing config ahead. See the pull requests #15 and #16. After that it should be easy to replace or complement the default config component with another implementation as proposed. I imagine this should the be an optional addon as it might pull in extra dependencies.

Will you provide an implementation?
