Should we style our web components ?

unstyled web components are getting more and more popular. They can be use in various context without messing with an existing design.

How much the web components we produce should be styled ? Should we propose styling parameter ? Dual versions styled or unstyled ? Aren’t there functionalities we could lost without styling ?

Providing basic styling (self contained in a single css file) for the components might be a good idea as it can provide a base example for people to modify. giving users an opportunity to progressively modify styling to their needs.
