Allow (internal) sharing of subscribed webcal calendars #26263
Comments
Sounds to me more like something for https://github.com/owncloud/calendar/issues AFAIK sharing of calendars is handled in the Calendar app, not in core. Edit Ref for an issue to expose subscribed calendars via CalDAV: #26193 |
Nope, subscriptions are handled in core. |
@tcitworld But still the calendar app is needed to add the subscriptions to core and to initially share the calendar in core or am i completely wrong? |
Sure, but that's the easy part. :-) |
Wouldn't it be best not to show the Sharing icon at all for subscribed calendars until this is possible? |

Sharing of subscribed webcal calendars is currently not possible. One usecase is an "administrator" subscribing to an external public holiday calendar, which is then shared to all "users". Shared subscribed calendars should be accessible via caldav (see relevant bug report #26193).
