These were needed when we had a marketplace API key, but now we have just the enterprise key, so these settings are no longer needed.

This is a feature: By connecting your marketplace publisher account wit the market app, you are able to see your "uploaded but not yet published" apps for testing with the market app.

Yeah, but do normal users / admins need to see it?

Wouldn't it make sense to trigger this in the market app via config key?
